About Us

Welcome to my blog!  You can call me by my first name Annatasia (Anna-tay-sha) or just Anna.  I’m an avid reader and I have always wanted to start my own book blog so I finally decided to start it. I write my own stories but have never finished them for them to be published but I always try to share them with my best friend, my mother who is also an avid reader and writer.

I am a book, tea addict and I am not on the way to any recovery because this is where I am supposed to be. I’d have to say that these are my only bad habits and I am not ashamed of them. I also like to speak my mind about things, especially books. However, I do respect other people’s opinions and thoughts and thoroughly enjoy discussing them.

My TBR list is so long that I am afraid to actually try and count it because there is so many but that doesn’t mean I won’t add more. I have so many physical books in my apartment and many unread ebooks on my nook and kindle app that is on my nook. I like a variety of books and will pretty much read anything I can get my hands on.

Sometimes my Mom and I like to read the same books. When this happens, with permission we would both like to read and review the book. However, if you decline permission for us to do so we will respect that and the person you chose to read and review it will be the only one to do so.

I am an only child and I find other people’s opinions and choices of books fascinating as well as their likes and dislikes. I can discuss things for forever because I can never get bored of it.

I am an extrovert with introvert tendencies so sometimes I will not be on my blog all the time and post everyday but I plan to be very active. When I am not on my blog I will most likely be curled up somewhere reading an exciting or steamy book or when life gets in the way of the fun things.

Some of my favorite Authors are J.K. Rowling, Stephenie Meyer, Vicki Lewis Thompson, David Finn, Suzanne Collins, Brian James, and Carol Costa… a few more for variety Christopher Pike, J.S. Scott, Evangeline Anderson, Marie Hall, Noah Harris, Jerry Cole, Olivia Black, and Nicky Charles.

Hi my name is Tracy. I am Annatasia’s Mom. I love to read and dabble in writing. I enjoy reading books, magazines, newspapers, and articles online. I will review books on here too. I like to read a wide variety of genres. Westerns and Fantasy are my least favorite to read at the moment. Some of my favorite Authors are J.R. Ward, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Lisa Wingate and newly discovered Karen Kingsbury.

Occasionally, one of us might discover a book that intrigues the other. With permission, as stated above and in our Review Policy, we  both like to read and post a review on the same book. If you request only one reviewer we will honor that.

I think it’s fabulous you’re doing this together! My mother and I were best friends (she passed away several years ago) and we shared a life-long attachment to books and reading.

When I was kid, she and my father took me to the library every weekend, When my mother grew older and couldn’t get around on her own, I took her to a bookstore every Saturday. We’d book shop, then sit in the cafe and chat over our finds.

Wishing you the absolute best with your blog!

Oh that’s so cute, thank you for sharing that with me! Yeah my mom and I are best friends as well. We go shopping for books just about anywhere together. I’m 23 and we’ve always have been like this. I think it’s really cool that family members bond over reading so well.

Thank you and I wish you the best as well .

I laughed when the 50 Shades of Gray came out. My daughter said to me I shouldn’t read this one…But I said I had perused my way through it months before. It reminded me of all the romances by friends in high school shared. She loves to read as I do. This is good.

I didn’t finish it. Part of me started to get irritated on how well it was being marketed -it shouldn’t even matter but it seemed like a well oiled machine and the feminist part of me started to get irritated on the idea of the idea of a very rich man making the woman do pretty much what he wanted. It made me wonder if the that love spot in her heart was welling over so she wasn’t really understanding what he was asking. One day they wake up and ask what was I thinking? Anna and her friend Jenny read them all but weren’t as impressed with the movie -maybe because it was visual.Sometimes Anna will explain some sexual thing to me( new lingo) and I’ll wonder if she learned it from the book. Has this lady written anything since. And I also wondered if a man was also writing it alongside the author….because it seemed like it at times. do you like to read murder mysteries? Theres is the Soho Publishing Co. I always recommend to people or Caffeinated Nights Publishing blog no#2.
