Miles and Rose had an instalove story. She was naked and wrapped in a bow around her midsection and was presented as a gift to Miles. As soon as Miles seen her he was protective of her and wanted her and all she was was confused and scared.
He is normally a tough scary man but around her he melts and becomes kind and gentle. She becomes a strong character. I like how when they become closer they become better people in general. This is a great novella and I hope other people see that.
Blurb: It was such a shame that she was in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
She knew that we would come for her.
We had seen her delicate face that night, hidden in the shadows, and she had seen what we did, her gasp of horror giving her away.
She was perfection, beauty, and oozed goodness but that wasn’t going to save her from us.
No one could ever find out our secret, which meant we needed to get rid of her.
But killing her wasn’t an option and scaring her into silence wasn’t as easy of a feat as we expected. She was strong, resilient , and smart doing whatever she could to evade us.
Thus without even knowing it she turned it into a game, and so we became blood thirty wolves.
Run and we’ll find you. Keep our secret and you might live.
That is until someone else finds out what we did…
**This is a standalone DARK bully romance. This book contains scenes that may be triggering to some readers. This is not a YA romance novel and should be read by those only 18+ or older. **

When I started reading this I was surprised by how much I liked Easton and Cameron. At first they were just doing what they had to do but then it got serious and personal. Stella was a strong woman too and she stood up to them. I really liked this story and I loved how the guys were basically night and day in their personalities. I think Cam is my favorite though out of the two men. I liked that there was give and take between Stella and the men. I would recommend this book to anyone who loved a good romance that was a little different than a normal romance but just as good and plenty interesting.
Rule #1: Don’t kiss your best friend. Rule #2: Don’t have sex with your best friend. Rule #3: Don’t pretend like it didn’t happen the next day.
Bailey Renshaw is my best friend.
Kind. Sweet as a peach, and so beautiful it should be a crime.
Since we were kids I’ve wanted her, and one time when we were nothing more than teenagers I kissed her. It was the first mistake I ever made in our friendship. Giving her my heart and hoping she felt the same were my second and third.
That night she broke me, ripped my heart out of my chest and stomped on it. Anyone else would’ve hated her for it, but it only made me value her more, and realize that I would do anything I could to keep her in my life even if it was only as a friend and nothing more.
As a permanent resident of the friend zone, I promised myself that I would never cross that line again no matter how badly I wanted to, and I wanted to, badly.
Every time she smiled at me, licked her pink lips, or flashed her doe eyes my way I came a little closer to breaking the rules again… but I didn’t. I couldn’t do that to us. Until one night when we decided to break the rules together.
One Earth shattering night together and I knew nothing would ever be the same.
Friends, or lovers? I don’t know what we are anymore. The rules no longer apply to us.
Now the only question is, can we fix what we had before it’s too late or is our friendship over for good? And all because of one single kiss?
**Complete standalone with a happily ever after. Don’t miss out on all the gooey goodness this book has to offer.**

The idea that sleeping with your best friend won’t change the friendship is crazy. Six changes everything once you become lovers and that’s what these two did. They went from just being beat friends to being best friends and lovers and boy were they passionate. You could tell that Bailey and Elijah loved each other the whole time.
I loved these characters and I didnt want the book to end . I went through all the emotions they did. It was a rollercoaster of them and it was beautiful. I loved every minute of it.
The ending was suprising to say the east. I want expecting that to happen but I was happy with it.
So will they keep the friendship ? Or will this all end it disaster? Find out by preordering a copy.
They say there is always a calm before the storm. A time when you think you’re safe, protected from the destruction that you know is going to eventually come. Harper was that calm. And I? I was the motherfucking storm.
As kids we were best friends. She was the light to my darkness. I used to protect her from her bullies, now I’ll become her most feared one.
Seeing her for the first time after three years was like a bucket of ice water being poured on me. It chilled me to the bone, making me irrational, angry. No longer is she a little girl but a grown woman with curves and eyes that pierce my black soul.
No one knows the darkness that lingers under the surface, all they see is my smile, my charismatic charm. I’m the all American golden boy.
Having her back in my life is awakening something inside of me. She reminds me of everything good, everything I’ll never have and I refuse to let her stay.
She has to go and the only person dark enough, dirty enough to scare her away is me…
Breaking Harper isn’t as easy… I thought I knew everything, turns out others are just as good at hiding their secrets as I am.
Damaged, dark and falling off the deep end. Will I break her? Will I break us?
“Sometimes the scariest monsters aren’t those that hide in the dark. Sometimes they’re the ones hidden right in plain sight… like me.”

TO start off the book may have SOME TRIGGERS.
Warren is a bully to Harper because of a past incident that Harper is unaware of. Warren and Harper have a past together that was romantic. Now Warren wants nothing to do with her and is cruel, possessive towards her.
Harper is a strong character since she has to deal with Warren. She has a strong backbone. She loves him even though he is cruel but he has some redeeming qualities that make you not totally hate him.
I like how the book ended it was perfect for a bully story. Do they break each other or do they fall together? Read it to find out.
Leo remembers little of his past. Desperate for a new life, he snatches up the first job to come along. THE SHADOW FABRIC is a story revealing the unknown history of witchcraft and the true cause of the Great Fire of London. A sublte horror novel of sins, shadows, and the reanimated dead.

Wow, where do I even start?
This book was so imaginative and brilliant that I was blown away at every twist and turn that happened. Oh and believe, there were A Lot. I haven’t read something this imaginative since Demorn: Blade of Exile by David Finn. This book had so many twists and turns it was like reading a maze.
Now this book was a slow read but you had to make sure that you read every single detail so you didn’t miss a thing. If you miss a detail then the book wouldn’t make sense. And there were plenty of details because so much was happening throughout the book. You were in a chair at the edge the whole time wondering what was next.
There was witchcraft, sins, darkness, shadows and reanimated corpses. There was mystery and intrigue and death around every corner of the page. This book is a piece of art. I truly don’t know how this book was wrote without going through a little madness in the midst. A very creative book too. So much went on that in surprised I didnt get a headache and whiplash. The Shadow Fabric is most definitely a masterpiece . I think this book is a great way to start a Halloween reading list. This is one loaded book.
Thank you for reading my review, I hope you enjoyed it.
Before Josselyn Thorn- Cyprus Reyner, Victoria d’Audrieu and Isabelle Rhodes had their own stories to tell. Requiem, the bundle of Whispers from the Past, includes Roar, Remember, React, and- as a special bonus- Raucous. Enjoy these tales as a sequel to The Whispers of Rings and let yourself share in their pain, loss, joy, and determination.
While reading this book I got to talk to the author at the same time. I got to know these characters through her eyes and my own. I love these characters as if I had written them myself. I adore Cyprus, he is my favorite. The Dragon that does not roar. There is a reason why he says that in the book and I love the reason why. It was a brilliant on Catherine”s part to have that in the book and to try and make him understand why some people are afraid of what they don’t know. I also think that people are afraid of things that they don’t understand so they try to stay away from them. But at the same time you don’t know what you are missing until you interact with them.
I just love Cyprus. Did I say that already? Well, I said it again. I also love how him and Victoria interacted. It was perfect. I felt everything throughout their journey together. I laughed, loved , cried, Everything. It was beautiful.
I felt the injustice and unjust of the corrupted family’s cruel business. I couldn’t believe that something like that could be going on in Jeremi’s family. I felt that same horror that Victoria did. Jeremi is not my favorite character but he’s not my least favorite either, that would be Adrian. Jeremi couldn’t stop the family business because it was too big but it doesn’t make him a bad person.
I loved the ceremony between Isabelle, Cyprus and Josselyn. It was touching and beautiful. I loved that moment! The whole idea of becoming a Ring is a beautiful thing and it works out perfectly for these three.
It was also cool that we got to read about Hildes story too. I liked that a lot. I wondered how she started her tavern. Overall, I adored this book. I was extremely attached to these characters and I got emotional when the characters did. I loved this book so much. It really is worth a read.

*This is book three in the North Woods University Series. It can be read as a complete standalone and contains NO cliffhanger, NO cheating, and a HEA. Please be advised this series contains sensitive material not suitable to all readers. This is NOT a YA series.**
As soon as I started reading this book I was hooked. I couldn’t put my phone down from reading this book. The chemistry and connection between Clark and Emerson was off the charts. It was the main reason that made the book so good. They just had a very strong bond.
Her secret was dark and scary and horrible and should never happen to anyone. I ended up figuring out part of her secret before it was revealed and who did it too. There were a few surprises though that I didn’t see coming that I was happy about and so was Emerson. Also the ending was a little weird and made me think that maybe the next book will explain why that ended like that. I don’t know if the book was supposed to have a special meaning behind the ending or not.
Other than that this book was great. Emerson and Clark were both brought out of their shells when they were together. They made each other a better person. They really kind of mended each others hearts together. I really liked this book and I plan on reading the other two books when I have the time.
I was promised a Nice Boy, but one look at my fiance and I know better.
I’ve had a plan for myself since I was a little girl: college, career, marriage, kids. Now that I’m established in my career, I’m looking forward to the next step: Marriage. But it looks like Mr. Right didn’t get his save the date card.
That’s why I decide to go with an arranged marriage using a modern day match maker.
Visions of white picket fences are dancing in my head on my way to meet my new fiance but when I get my first look at Josh I can’t breathe.
Oh sure, he’s hot as heck and I can’t resist giving in to every opportunity to be alone with him but marry him? I’m not so sure about that.
Josh is all bad boy; tattoos, dirty mind, and foul mouth. Hardly husband material.
Is happily ever after really possible with a man like Josh?
My last relationship ended with a wrecked house and a night in jail…I’m ready for a woman that’s crazy about me, not just crazy.
So when my boss tells me she’s gonna find me a wife, I can’t argue with the woman who’s like a mother to me.
I know Caitlyn’s the perfect woman as soon as I set eyes on her and I love knowing she wants me just as bad as I want her.
I won’t let anything get in the way of putting my ring on this woman’s finger and starting our life together.
First off, I just want to say that I liked this book better than the first book. That’s because I actually got what I was asking for! There was more depth in the story and behind the characters and it made the story better right off to start with. There was more details that made the characters more interesting and that was very pleasing. It wasn’t just a story about people getting married and having hot sex.
This was a story about not judging what someone looks like at first to see who they are and what they represent. Things aren’t always what they seem to be. I really enjoyed this book and I was kind of bummed when it ended. The way it ended was pretty good but I just didn’t want it to end is the thing. The couple were a perfect match as you will see once you read it. There are a few surprises in the story that make it interesting. This story, I believe, is for everyone.
I’m ready for my happily ever after but I’m obviously incapable of telling the difference between a good man and a good time.
What’s a girl to do when she can’t trust her own judgment? Let her bestie pick a husband for her of course!
When my BFF finds a modern day matchmaker online, I break down and give it a shot. What have I go to lose, right? Except when my future husband looks more like Mr. Rogers than Mr. Right I get cold feet.
Aiden’s a perfect gentleman but maybe I was hoping for something a little rougher around the edges.
I’m done playing the field.
I’m ready to start a family and I want a wife at my side who’s in it for the long haul. I’m sick of trying to find a good woman on my own. I want what my brother has, dammit.
He’s happy with his wife and they just announced their second baby’s on the way. I’m so jealous I can think straight. An arranged marriage worked for them.
That’s why I’m trusting Raven’s matchmaking services to find me the right woman. Brooke is that woman. The only woman for me and I know it as soon as I see her. But her friend tells me that Brooke’s done with guys like me so if I want her I’m going to have to convince her I’m not like those other guys.
I hate dressing up like a office monkey but I’ll be a perfect gentleman if that’s what it takes to get my ring on Brooke’s finger and my baby in her belly.
When I first started reading this book I liked the character Brooke right away. Thinking her “picker” was broken when picking guys. Some of us have the luck and some of us don’t. I felt for the characters right off the bat. It was like they were real people and I wanted to meet them and get to know them,
There was a twist in the book that was a little chuckle worthy and it also worked out for the best. There was plenty of heat in this book too. Don’t get me wrong, sure this may have been an arranged marriage book but there are plenty of hot moments in here that can make you sweat. There are also some sweet moments too as well as a comical moment or two.
Overall I was very happy with this book I just wish that the characters had a little more depth as well as the story.
Things aren’t easy for an Alpha-born werewolf. Jared has lived- and run from- this truth for all of his life, happy to stick to a bare minimum of fleeting friendships and romantic encounters, never quite putting down roots or taking on responsibility. When tensions rise and his brother Tobias is forced to kick him out of his family home, Jared takes it in stride. After all, what could be worse than the constant conflict he had to endure with his family?
Darwin doesn’t see life this way. Family is everything and he would do anything to keep his father safe. As a submissive, one who is supposed to be protected and kept safe, he feels the need to take care of those around him, even though things in his pack aren’t as they should be. First of all, they don’t know Darwin is a submissive. And secondly, if they were to find out, his life would be forfeit. Already, his Alpha and leader, Carl, has his suspicions about the brittle young man, but playing the dominant is a sacrifice Darwin gladly makes for the sake of his father.
When Jared meets Darwin, he doesn’t expect to fall madly in love, and he definitely doesn’t expect to care this much about what might happen to Darwin if Jared doesn’t step up and save him from his Alpha. A little heroism doesn’t seem like too tall an order at first, but when he realizes the deep trouble Darwin is in, he finds that he might have bitten off more than he can chew.
Disclaimer: This is not an omegaverse or [mpreg] story. It does not conform to the popular archetypes, although similar wording is used.
When I started reading this book I thought that it would just be a romance. I was wrong. There is a lot that goes on in this book that I loved and it clearly had more in it than I ever thought it would which made me happy. But… the ending just made me want more from the characters after we had been through that rollercoaster of action and sadness and beatings and everything you could possibly think of. This is going to be one of my favorite shifter stories of all time just because it had a little bit of everything for everyone.
I guess the ending was as good as it could get but I got so attached to these characters that I wanted more than what I was given. So I give this 4 stars instead of 5 but don’t let that deter you from reading this great book. It has heat in it, heart, sadness, action, and even some regular safe times too, you’ll see. Just check it out.
